The journal does not apply an embargo period to published scholarly articles.

Copyright

Copyright in articles published in IJSoE is retained by the author(s), subject to any rights that may legally belong to an employer or other rights holder in a particular case.

Authors grant the International Journal of Social Exploration the right of first publication and appropriate non-exclusive rights necessary to publish, distribute, preserve, and identify the journal as the original publisher of the work.

Creative Commons License

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, users may copy, share, distribute, reproduce, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s), the original publication is acknowledged, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.

The journal does not impose additional restrictions that conflict with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit and share the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic webpages, or other appropriate scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication in IJSoE is properly acknowledged and the applicable license information is retained.

Third-Party Material

Material included in an article that is owned by a third party may not necessarily be covered by the article’s CC BY 4.0 license.

Where third-party material is used, authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions and for clearly identifying applicable copyright or licensing restrictions.

Access and Reuse

Open access under this policy is intended to support lawful reading, downloading, copying, searching, linking, indexing, text and data use, redistribution, and reuse in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license and relevant law.

Publication Charges

Open access to published articles is independent of editorial and peer-review decisions.

Any submission, processing, publication, or other author charges applicable at a particular time will be stated separately and transparently in the journal’s Fees and Article Processing Charges policy.

The existence or absence of such charges does not influence editorial decisions.

Policy Consistency

The journal’s Open Access Policy, Copyright Notice, and licensing information are intended to operate consistently with one another. Where an article contains material subject to separate rights or permissions, the specific notice accompanying that material will apply.
